Auntie This is NOT Wanda Probe.
Been months now and Ms Tittler seems to not want to register this fact.
ERBL’s constant and wearying misrepresentations of the facts don’t speak well for the credibility of their ‘political organization’….

The past few months have been busy for the compulsive hate-mongers at ERBL. To begin, their legendary petition campaign: much discussed; much promoted; and never launched. Similarly their attempts at campaigns in social media; which never seem to catch fire, but are regularly slapped aside by their opponents – as happened in Thunder Bay. MT’s final parry – her disrespectful head dress campaign – was identically vapid. Somehow, the image of MT smirking in her array of blue Malaysian chicken feathers never caught fire – and simply bored her excitable fans; so much so that images of Michelle pouting in her poultry finery have disappeared from the ERBL feeds. This development is unfortunate – though ironically symbolic. We’ve been left with the perfect icon of ERBL’s existence: all squawk; no chicken.
On other fronts, ERBL doubled down on their involvement in the Tamara Ward Johnson self-immolation – this time in municipal politics; with many of their allies joining social media sites in Thunder Bay in hopes of electing TWJ as a councilor.
The result was predictable: a solid phalanx of opposition from all stations and walks of life in Thunder Bay – including a large and active group of local citizens, the Mayor, the Chief of Police, and a young and charismatic Chief of the Fort Williams First Nations – who handled Johnson’s inanities with rare aplomb. The only thing that ERBL proved in Thunder Bay is that their followers are simply incapable of understanding democratic politics and the rule of law.
Tamara Ward Johnson now seems to be attempting to distance herself from some of her more rabid follows – who she had previously clung to for support through two elections – as they insist on underlining their inability to understand the modern age – and humans –by engaging in a vituperative set of attacks on private citizens who have taken the trouble of discussing and being critical of Ms Johnson’s position and platform or her social and political perceptions. These attacks have plumbed the depths of internet bullying through impersonation, slander – and some of the most vicious displays of misogyny imaginable.
In the meantime, John Podolaniuk and Brian Webster have attempted to trumpet TWJ’s poor result in her third big failure in electoral politics as some sort of victory; pretending that the meager 7% she got at the polls somehow reflects a large constituency – though she is a full 40% behind any of the winning candidates in the polls. Proof positive of their state of delusion can be found in their nuisance petitions – which make outrageous claims about the electoral process; and get few actual Thunder Bay residents as signatories. We’d like to thank these gentlemen for their last contributions to our collective memories of TWJ – as she swans off into the sunset – and hopefully for good. Stay classy, guys!
And speaking of third big fails: Dayleen Van Ryswyk has also run in what seems to be a fourth kamikaze campaign which seems to have involved campaigning for Johnson in Thunder Bay while staying resolutely silent in the Kelowna media. Van Ryswyk’s attempt to mute her long-time involvement in ERBL came to no good end; because her involvement in Thunder Bay provided much fodder for us to remind the Kelowna media of her execrable views – and poor political knowledge and judgement
Van Ryswyk’s result: an almost impossibly minimal 1.28%; or half of the standard margin of error, and fully achievable by an ambitious tree or rock. If there were any more convincing display of the fact that Dayleen Van Ryswyk does not speak for Canadians; and has no constituency whatsoever – it could not happen without the agency of a tornado; some ruby slippers; and a falling house. Short of her dear dim hubby – a major fan of MT’s – it’s clear that Dayleen has little support outside of, perhaps, a few koi fanciers – whose judgement might be questioned if one considers the logistics of raising carp in grizzly and eagle country. Any future involvement in electoral politics could only be seen as evidence of masochistic tendencies; and will demonstrate that megalomania doesn’t require any justification – other than a healthy dose of entitlement and privilege.
Happily, though, Dayleen’s collapsed dream has left her free to return to the world of on-line commentary – which will gladden the heart of her many ironic fans. Dayleen’s ego is the gift that keeps on giving:
The final result of ERBL’s electoral plunge has simply been cringe-worthy – with allies finding themselves embarrassed by their obvious ties to the increasingly hectoring MT; and the mercenary nature of their involvement in the Thunder Bay campaign. The damage done by ERBL’s opponents in Thunder Bay was so deep – and so devastating – that MT found old allies heading for the doors and – as is her character when feeling rejected – she began a project of harassment and hatefulness towards her former followers which pretty much ensures that many won’t ever return to the fold. Significantly, the first follower to get the patented ERBL treatment was of First Nations ancestry – and clearly was subject to MT’s jealous rage at her close relationship to the dapper Gerry Gagnon: the leopard hasn’t changed her spots and continues to prefer to target First Nations women.
So – for now – ERBL sits hopelessly spinning its wheels, and repeating their standard lies to a bored few remaining supporters. In fact, things are so bad that MT is now advertising for an “investor” who – as she clearly states – will not be too careful in checking the books. It looks like the old days of collecting donations from bored and hateful pensioners (which looks a great deal like taking taxpayer’s money from the entitled few who can continue depending on it) are truly over.
After two years of “campaigning”, ERBL is still working for donations – literally “hate-mongering”; and has not produced a single petition or coherent campaign. At some point, even their dullest followers will realize that Michele Tittler’s little dog-and-pony show is simply a farce – and their followers serve as their tiny circus’s clowns.

Racial Slurs are NOT an honor!!! #StopOnlineHate
Over the years, certain well-known figures in the sports and entertainment industries have asserted that misappropriating Indigenous culture for financial gain is perfectly acceptable … and, in fact, something everyone should get in on. When Indigenous peoples have spoken out against this misappropriation, the comment most often used by these sports and entertainment big names is that they misappropriate the culture to honor the culture.
These same sports and entertainment figures will argue that the use of black face is wrong and insensitive, and that any references to the atrocities of WWII are wrong and insensitive. And they will go to extreme lengths to argue that the wrong and insensitive act of misappropriating the culture of First Nations peoples is the highest compliment they can pay to Indigenous peoples.
Rather than share my views on this subject, this article will ask others to explain how they perceive the following quotes. …

Idle No More: Mutiny on the Bounty by Elyse Bruce. Once again a stellar article from this author. Thank you for sharing your words; they are very much appreciated.
Last month, Tamara Johnson decided to make noise in Thunder Bay by offering what she called a “reward.” But what Ms. Johnson refers to as a “reward” is considered a “bounty” in the eyes of Thunder Bay Police Chief J.P. Levesque and Fort Williams First Nation Chief Georjann Morriseau. What’s the difference?
The dictionary definition of a reward is “money that someone receives for finding and returning something or for helping the police.”
The dictionary definition of a bounty is “money offered as a reward, especially for catching or killing a criminal.”
Based on these dictionary definitions a reward is not the same thing as a bounty. A reward can be as simple as a sincere, heartfelt thank you that is not expected but certainly accepted if offered. A bounty has an expectation of payment for services rendered.

British Columbia has long had a tradition of wacky and colourful politicians – from flying Phil Gaglardi to the self-named Premier Amor De Cosmos. It’s also got a well-known tradition of the most vicious racism as part of its political culture; with outrages a-plenty – from the nasty colonial behaviour of the so-called “Chilcotin War”, to the Komagata Maru; to the Japanese internment; not to mention the fact that the Province of BC refused to not only recognize the treaty relationship, but refused to admit that they’d ever signed any treaties until the Courts forced them to do so in 1964 – and not to mention the long process by which the Tsilhqot’in finally got some of their rights recognized.
It was a surprise, however, to see a politician arise who not only met the marks for wacky and racist, but managed to do so before really becoming a politician at all: actually getting kicked out as an NDP candidate on the first day of an election – for the tediously usual bigotry of attacking the use of French in the Olympics; as well as a free-form and deeply ignorant meditation on First Nations.
Dayleen first apologized for her ignorant comments; then retracted any suggestion that she was actually apologizing for her sentiments; but merely wanted to apologize to any who were so sensitive as to have been hurt by her views.
And better yet, when ERBL reached out to her, she bit – hard. “Let’s take it the next level!”
Her idea for the “next level”: the same old dreary derogation of First Nations people.
And Michele Tittler – ERBL’s mother hen – loved to encourage Dayleen – the apt pupil. Here, she brilliantly mirrors her mentor’s language, and demonization of First Nations people. Amazingly, round dancers and drummers become “domestic terrorists”.
To demonstrate that she’s an equal opportunity hater, here’s a short section from her personal Facebook page: “Dayleen Van Ryswyk likes this”
Unless – of course – the hate is from anyone who has stepped on Dayleen’s ambitions. Her personal encouragement of homophobia doesn’t compare at all to that of the woman who brought her racists and anti-French comments to the public’s attention:
In a very short time, Dayleen managed to become entrenched with the full network of ERBL’s friends and allies. For further information on these folks, please check “Incitement And Aryans” and “How To Run A Hate Group” – literally, a “who’s who” of Western Canadian white supremacists and racists.
Dayleen has been diligently reaching out for a year – even as her second by-election campaign failed miserably – as she tried to make political connections everywhere on the right: here, with the Canadian Taxpayers Federation – with an attendant set of “likes” from various supremacists. Note especially her hubby’s interjection: it will become a regular theme in the Van Ryswyk discourse
Although Dayleen remained rather silent in the Kelowna social media, she seems to have been everywhere this year, spreading her baleful message of hate – and encouraging other ERBL members to do the same. Here, she supports the sentiments of one of ERBL’s less visible administrators – in Winnipeg
And in Thunder Bay, she has been a prominent support of the highly marginal Tamara Ward Johnson – on Johnson’s web page; in social media community groups; and on CBC’s social media sites – always in the company of other ERBLites.
Here – reaching out to Gary McHale in Ontario
And as she reaches out, her message is becoming more and more consistent; and the implications of her grosser version of the ERBL ideology seems to underline the deep strains of violent racism within the group. She’s talking here about the various walks in solidarity with the families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women:
Compare her words – and her message – to those of some of her earliest “free speech” supporters: Stormfront – the nadir of White Supremacy in Canada.
While Dayleen was striving to spread her influence, we had a lucky break in Thunder Bay. Early attention to the racist campaign of Tamara Ward Johnson – here – and to her increasingly bizarre tactics – here – resulted in a strong group of Thunder Bay opponents who were well-aware of ERBL’s tactics – and its personnel:
Many of the leading ERBL campaigners found themselves embarrassed by the fact that they were interfering in a Thunder Bay municipal election – despite the fact that they had no connections to Thunder Bay – and especially embarrassed by public knowledge of their surreptitious connections to Michele Tittler and Gerry Gagnon. As Johnson’s campaign imploded, we watched as folks like Dayleen and Gail Dyer distanced themselves from Tittler and tried to influence Gerry Gagnon to break from the organization.
Predictably, Tittler reacted as she always does when rejected: full attack – and an attack targeted mainly at one of the few people in her retinue who has native ancestry: the full panoply of Michele Tittler’s methods were on display: slander, fake web pages, hateful messages, and harassment
Dayleen’s immediate disloyalty to her long-time mentor was a good indication of her self-serving wish to protect her election campaign from the ERBL implosion – which still has not fully resolved itself.
Her next step, however, has taken her disloyalty to a much higher level.
Watch as she presents herself as the new leader for ERBL – while carefully pretending not to criticize Tittler at all; although it would be unthinkable that she’s talking about anybody else:
And of course, she continues to pretend everything is okay; even as she tries to organize a putsch to overthrow her old friend.
So this is how Dayleen has entered the Kelowna municipal election; having done nothing to educate herself on any of the issues which brought her to abject failure in three previous elections. Instead, she has concentrated her delusions, made a power grab in one of the most hateful organizations in Canada; and tried to spin a web of connections to help her in her future ideological campaigns.
It’ll be interesting to see how she does in her election: early indications are poor – and this may be the rejection which convinces her to either educate herself – or simply go away.

1. If you think “not only Indigenous women go missing” and this concerns you: DEMAND YOUR OWN INQUIRY. Don’t you care about ‘your missing people’?
2. Statistics don’t lie.
FACT: Indigenous women are 3 to 4 times more likely to go missing or be murdered than non-Indigenous.3. Most Canadians are NOT Statisticians
FACT: Most women know their attackers
NOT-A-FACT: This does not mean that most Indigenous women are attacked by Indigenous men. Making that assumption – that everyone’s list of acquaintances is as narrow and non-diverse as yours – is bigoted. There is so much more we could say on this matter, but instead, we suggest you read this great article by Elyse Bruce
Two days ago, End Race Based Law posted an OpEd to the ERBL Facebook page as well as on the ERBL blog where the writer shared her views on violence, specifically on violence against Aboriginal females.

Rather than dissect the OpEd piece, let’s take a closer look at the facts from various studies, statistics, reports, and mainstream media news articles. While some of the sources contain anecdotal or personal stories (i.e. comments from interviewees that are included in mainstream media news articles), most of the information referenced is factual data interpreted by respected and reputable professionals.
Fact #1: The most common form of violence experienced by women is physical violence inflicted by an intimate partner.
This fact comes from the United Nations report found HERE.
According to Statistics Canada, this is the most recent information (based on information collected in 2011) with regards to same-sex and…
