In the past, we’ve been doing an overview of ERBL’s activities and friends over the past few years, including a breakdown of both Mickey’s stage-front persona as well as Gerry’s multiple back-channel contacts with a great diversity of folks in the lunatic right Recently, we’ve had the opportunity to look in as ERBL has actually infiltrated and take over someone’s web page; effectively destroying her political career in their quest for wider publicity and more members. Right now, TWJ is still of use to ERBL, so they’re playing her hard. However – as other “allies” have learned – ERBL’s tactics are brutal when your usefulness runs out. TWJ thinks she might have a future in municipal politics; but when she hears from the polls, she’ll be hitting a wall – and that’s when ERBL will just walk away. Below you’ll find the results of our analysis of Tamara Ward Johnson’s Facebook page.
A Thunder Bay shopkeeper, Tamara was running for the Conservative Party there when she repeated some things that she’d heard around town – and the roof fell in on her. Turns out that Tamara doesn’t have a good grasp on the Law, the Constitution, Treaty Rights, and a host of other things that might be important for a politician. For most folks, you can fake it – or fudge it – and usually you can get through a conversation. For a political candidate, shooting off your mouth without checking the facts is deadly. Tamara was tossed out by the Conservatives without so much as a “fare thee well”. Luckily – or unluckily – for Tamara; the Libertarians, a wildly marginal party, was looking for a candidate with some public profile – and Tamara got the nod.
What the Libertarians were looking for was a well-known single-issue candidate like Rob Ford; who could break through the multiple establishment parties and give the Libertarians a seat. So they went with that single flub of Tamara’s – and doubled down on it with a newspaper ad repeating the misinformation. Then ERBL joined in. Below you’ll see the results. ERBL flooded Tamara’s page – and changed the discourse in their characteristic hateful way. Tamara had no idea what was happening:
The change starts slowly. While Tamara has just been kicked out of her party – and everyone is walking away from a political disaster – suddenly she’s had a whole bunch of new friends who just wanted to help. 
Unfortunately, very few of her new friends come from Thunder Bay. In fact, they’re really there just to spread ERBL’s ideology,and not to get Tamara elected; a fact that Tamara – a political innocent – hasn’t figured out to this day.
What Tamara doesn’t know is that some of the folks who are pushing her in this new direction for her political career are in fact well-known trolls and marginal, seriously eccentric racists. For example, can you spot the Aryan in the above group of “likes”? The answer is here. In the following, you’ll see how things go: starting with a ERBL member – who regularly pretends to be from Thunder Bay – grabbing hold of the conversation after TWJ posts something.
Pretty soon, others join in: and all don’t even come from Thunder Bay. It’s clear that – although they’re joining in to a discussion about local municipal politics, they are not at all knowledgeable about Thunder Bay; in fact, couldn’t care less about the discussion. The two ERBLites are just talking the way they always talk – laying down their talking points: with no concern about the actual subject of the post; what has been said; or who has been saying it.
This kind of discourse – along with the, uh, interesting graphics, has the effect of driving away the uncommitted – and those who actually know something about the subject you’re talking about. What’s left in the thread is the ERBLites – and those who are easy to convince. In the next posting, you can see how ERBL takes control of the discourse by buffing Tamara’s ego while at the same time laying down their ideology. People from elsewhere, joining in to a discussion of a Thunder Bay event – and, in one case, pretending that they can actually effect things in Thunder Bay.
Please note that Gail Dyer suggests that she’ll be voting “for the first time in [her] life”. Well – not in Thunder Bay: Gail lives in Eastern Ontario. In the meantime, people from Thunder Bay are falling away from a page which is increasingly – well – cranky.
Not included here is the host of times that the ERBLites have literally howled down citizens of Thunder Bay when they’ve suggested any concerns about what people are saying – and the way they are saying it. It’s obvious that ERBL has TWJ’s ear, because – true to ERBL’s technique – Tamara has now made her page “invite only”: which allows her to bar people if they don’t like what she’s saying; have questions about the facts she’s presenting; or don’t like the sentiments of the ERBL commentators. In Tamara’s page these days, discussion and political discourse is at an end: if you don’t agree with Tamara – and ERBL – you’re simply thrown out. But – don’t take it from me! Here’s a nice game card that you can use to analyze Tamara’s – and a few other – pages. Here are the ERBLites – all “friends of Tamara” – who are trying to speak for the people of Thunder Bay:
Let’s have a look at that first graph again: As ERBL takes control of the discourse on TWJ’s page,and Tamara loses her soft support – as well as the support of those who actually want positive change in Thunder Bay – you can see an small number of Thunder Bay residents who are starting to tune into ERBL’s profoundly racist message.
That’s what ERBL is looking for in every Social Media campaign they run: an increase in ERBL numbers – not Tamara’s. And after TWJ’s fantasy hits that electoral wall – when ERBL moves on to their next campaign – they’ll leave TWJ isolated and lost – wondering whatever happened to her reputation. Or – more sadly – wandering the political wilderness as one of ERBL’s shock troops – like Darleen Van RysWyck – with less than 1% of the vote in her last by-election and media descriptions like “crass”, “classless” and “weird”.
But that’s her choice. Lots of folks have tried to warn her; but somehow the stroking of the ERBLites gets her attention more than hard realities: not a good characteristic for someone involved in politics. A good argument should stand up to converse thinking so lets take a look at what this author has to say.
First and foremost she is against the group end based law meaning she must support laws based on race. which laws in history are based on race.in the United States there were laws regarding white only drinking fountains, blacks were made to go to the back of the bus . These are all laws based on race. These laws were changed. According to this author these laws should not have been ended. in other words this author clearly demonstrates she is a racist who supports laws based on race. This article is obscene and should be removed as thinly disguised racism.

Let’s start with “real names”: first, if you’d done any reading on our site, you’d have realized we’re a whole group of people – so the name we use for all of us is Auntie ERBL or Auntie Thesis. Your name is interesting: I’ve noticed that you’re “epodolan” at your Shaw hookup in Calgary, which is strange – given the fact that your first initial is theoretically “J”. And following up on that hookup, your Shaw IP address says you’re in Eau Claire! That’s a mighty pricey neighbourhood – unless you’re working out of a business there. Must be a nasty commute every day to Thunder Bay…
To recap my allegations: I have said you are a member of Tamara Ward Johnson’s friends’ list – which is true; I’ve said that you follow ERBL – which is true; I have said that you aren’t in Thunder Bay – also true; and I’ve said that you have taken part in multiple ERBL social media campaigns – which is also true. Even if I’ve made a mistake on one of those items – which I’d gladly fix – none of those allegations are actionable.
As to the “hiding and watching”, I’d like to remind you that you have been spending your days and nights “spreading lies and gossip” on Tamara Ward Johnson’s page – along with others; and that your activity is being done in full view of the public – where the world can see you.
As a matter of fact, you can go back to the thread where you first made your threat about lawyers and watch while Michele Tittler maligns a woman who she has been slandering and bullying for over a year – a woman who has absolutely nothing to do with this page. And where you’re chatting along with “Rusty Nails” – who never seems to be on the page when Brian Webster is around. And what is he chatting about? A page he just set up to slander and malign the Mayor.
I’ve done nothing in secret at all – unlike many on the ERBL list – but publicly commented on the obvious fact that almost 50 people from ERBL somehow decide to join the Tamara Ward Johnson list at the same time. And that a whole bunch of them seem to not live near Thunder Bay.
So if you’re feeling bad about the whole thing, you might consider why the bald statement of the facts I’ve listed makes you feel so bad. Guilty conscience?
You might want to read some more of our stuff on ERBL before you make too much of an investment in your new friends. What you find there should seriously be troubling.
I feel absolutely no guilt in what I say in public and do not have any need to hide. Obviously you do You have made a vital mistake which has indeed left you liable and this is being examined. Actually he does have a leg to stand on. Fair comment and fair use yes however you are making dangerous accusations against specific people. Fair use would be “anonymous person said …..” not “this person who lives here and has this political mindset is a racist and said ….” perhaps you would like to google slander and libel amd how about cyberbullying. Hmmm, seems John didn’t come to your site to ask questions; he came to make threats and vent his anger. Sharing information, opinion, and ideology he posted in the public domain is somehow an offence of civil law to repeat? The whole ‘Fair Comment’ issue not withstanding.
Treaties are not laws, they’re contracts which are legally binding. Treaties are not race based, they’re Nation to Nation based ….. over 100 years of legislation from the highest courts in the land says so.
Gladue Reports are not law either, they are a tool very similar to a Pre-Sentencing Report, and where created to help ‘The Law’ apply equally.
Sadly, all of End Race Based Law prefer negativity and Confirmation Bias to the reality of the world we all must live in. Their dark anger is perhaps an outcome of Cognitive Dissonance. Their penchant for creating division is inexcusable. Perhaps they need to admit to themselves they’ve utterly failed in their quest to create equality and harmony, and are now doing the opposite.

I’m sorry you’ve been put through such abuse Ron: it’s what they do. You’ll no doubt be interested to know that JP’s only link to Thunder Bay seems to be the Valhalla Inn. It must be quite an expensive place to live full-time. And you’re right: TWJ seems to have gone down the wrong road; and is doubling down on a losing wager. It’s sad to see someone waste their opportunities like that.
Its all good ,you have to see whom its comeing from,so i dont give it a second thought.What disturbs me is all i had to do was sit back and watch,read,it was obvious what was going on there,Others just dont get it at all.i did all this in a week long before i knew about this site,or other combating ERBL,i did get a small heads up from Bil but just by reading his comments on TWJ,s wall.i did my own digging,And ran a little experiment ,by letting my 15 yr old son watch protest vids of Titler,he knew nothing of anything ,i said just watch and tell me your thoughts,after a few head shakes and some laughing,he looked at me and said personally i think that woman needs help,Does she not understand what the indian act is??it took him 15 mins to draw that conclusion,So if a kid can figure it all out that fast,These so called adults,should really give there own heads a good shake.
I realize this’ll start seeming a little obsessive soon, but I can’t help myself. Reading more and more posts that ed/john had written just infuriates me! I had not, until just now, read his ipredator post and all the comments about his actual racist beliefs! In those comments is one…one praising j pod’s factual and educated accounts of his racist version of history. This post is from a Scott Conboy. What are the chances that Scott, a service tech at performance kia in Thunder Bay, would agree so wholeheartedly with a ‘john podolaniuk’ from Calgary and not the ed podolaniuk that he works with!?
I don’t mean to try and hijack this page, but it’s frustrating. I have a much more vested interest in this than I let on, that’s for sure. I just don’t feel I have the luxury of letting any of these racists know who I really am. I don’t trust anyone of them. When I found this page and realized there are many people trying to stop this bs, I don’t feel I can remain silent. These bigots need to be outed…their employers, co workers, customers and friends need to know what they spew out there! Their hatred and uncontrollable misguided and misunderstanding of social reality is both saddening and maddening! Emotions that are rarely evoked at the same time.
Bottom line: this band of merry misguided misfits will never admit their true racist views…hiding behind their ‘equality for all’ rhetoric. By every single one of their own admission – every one of them only believes that First Nations people only survive, but by the perceived ‘gift’ of their hard earned tax dollar. Their very next speaking point is almost only that without all these ‘hand outs’ that ‘they’ so graciously afford First Nation people, First Nations would wither and cease. Then enter their everyone should be equal, pay the same taxes, benefit identically, etc. so by their logic, their version of equality, which btw is not even close to actual real equality, would in fact destroy First Nations people?! And they rant on about how they are not racists!?
No amount of energy, logic, intellect, fact or otherwise will ever convince these racists they are what they are. As you and others have pointed out, many unsuspecting and simple minded people easily seem to be sucked in by this allure of ‘equality’ and ‘sameness’, but destroying cultures in the pursuit of this equality completely negates true equality. They sing on about the handful of aboriginal people that side with them, and who want this ‘equality’ they bottle up and try to sell. Many aboriginals around the world have been convinced they are the problem, but look at the source of the information: White, Americanized, mass media!

You’re absolutely right – and brilliantly succinct in describing the larger picture. The important thing to remember with folks like John/Ed, Michele, and Tamara is that it doesn’t really matter which real or fake names they speak under; they are just symptoms of a larger disease: that any one of them can disappear, but the root problem will remain.
I suspect that there is a deep dis-ease in the Canadian psyche; and that the INM movement has triggered the fears and guilt of a large number of people; that they seriously have trouble dealing with the fact that a people that they thought would be a permanent underclass – propping them up – now seem to have a growing economic power; and a deep awareness – passed on by their ancestors – of their cultural power and strength.
This is the reason for the back-lash after INM’s major movement forward.
Luckily, we have a large group of people who are aware of the problem; are documenting it – and are using the documentation to show people what these folks are really about. Their motivation is fear and anger – and they love to provoke those emotions: doing so legitimizes their sad state. If they can provoke fear and anger, they can act as if their projection of their trapped state is somehow real.
We’ve found that the longer you let them talk; the more you don’t engage with them – the more extreme they get in trying to provoke a response; and the stupider they look when others look at what they have said and are doing. Don’t worry: they don’t have much intelligence; and will destroy themselves. Hatred doesn’t have much of a lifespan if it is not fed.
Your analysis of these folks is good. They don’t have much in the way of a life, and like to hang out with more of the same. And we’re making sure we catch the little gross and disrespectful things they say; fuel for the fire; talking points for when TWJ decides to raise her head in public again.
